Why Can't Students Using Laptops in College Class Essay?Many students have a hard time using laptops in a college class. I do not blame them. I too had to face this issue when I was first getting my degree. The reason I do not blame students is because I too faced the same problems when I first started college.In my experience, I found that the process of researching a subject was much faster if the person was not on a laptop. It meant that the student would not have to spend hours reading books and papers to find a topic they were interested in. Instead, the student could read about their interests and then write a bit about it in their essay.This process would also have made the student's essays more professional essays are usually written with a lot of information. If the student used a laptop and had to stand still in order to type on a keyboard, they were not going to have nearly as much information to work with. This meant that it would take longer for the student to write the essay.As far as the essay was concerned, this problem was more pronounced for students who wrote on paper. Since most students write by hand, they did not want to spend all day or night writing an essay and writing it in one sitting. They wanted to write it out in sections and then write those sections back together and then proofread the essay before they submitted it.The point is that laptops were not the right option for students. Not only did it take them longer to complete the process, but the student lost time reading over the papers. I was forced to switch from a computer to paper when I got my degree.When I first moved to an on campus living facility, I had to go back to college because there were very few laptops for college students in myarea. This made my transition a bit harder than it should have been. The reason why is because the laptops that were available to students were not high-end laptops.These laptops were also not as powerful as the computers used by students. This meant that the student would not be able to do much on the computer. Even though the laptop was more advanced than the laptops that were in my dorm room, I would still run into problems typing on it. After a while, the laptop became a hindrance to my studies.With the arrival of more modern laptops, this problem has disappeared. The students can now use their laptops in a college class and study for tests and essays. With the help of a laptop, the student can actually write an essay and do research on any topic at the same time.
